NOBS MARYLAND

RESIDENTIAL

The Maryland project is located in Beverly Grove, one of the upper middle-class neighborhoods in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. It built a timeless language by reinterpreting traditional forms and materials to solve functional spaces for modern life.

The important feature in the structure of this house is that the roof combines with the sidewalls to form its own shell. The terrace is obtained as a result of carving this shell and offers us an example of modern architecture. The fact that the front and back facades of the house are completely transparent provides great convenience in terms of daylight and air circulation.
