The Maryland project is located in Beverly Grove, one of the upper middle-class neighborhoods in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. It built a timeless language by reinterpreting traditional forms and materials to solve functional spaces for modern life.

The important feature in the structure of this house is that the roof combines with the sidewalls to form its own shell.
